With 365 days already expended in the President Buhari's four year administrative tenure. Nigerians have been face with both the good, the bad and the ugly side of life. Before the 2015 electioneering process, Nigerians were all hungry for a change, we were fed up and tired of President Goodluck Jonathan's administration, all we needed was a change and a change was what we got.
If anything defines our current situation as a nation, it is that we are caught in between a harsh economy, security crisis, and a total change from our corrupt ways. Barely one year into President Buhari's administration, Nigeria has been plagued by severe economic meltdown as we are also been confronted with economic policies that affects us both negatively and positively.
From the genesis of President Buhari's administration there have series of heartbreaking and also applaudable events; from the cold genocidal killing of over 700 Shitte muslims by the Nigerian army in Zaria Kaduna state, to the sudden removal of fuel subsidy without palliatives been put in place, leaving the common man in pains and anguish, down to the sharp drop in crude oil sale, coupled with the fall of the naira against the dollar, rise in unemployment rate, coupled with an epileptic power supply from Nigerian Power Holding Company (PHCN).
With the most alarming been the gruesome killing of innocent farmers in most part of the north central, south west and south east by Fulani herdsmen. Coupled with the bombing of oil facilities by the Niger Delta Avengers militant group bringing Nigeria's oil exploration level to over 50percent low, crippling the economy even more, with Boko Haram Militants not also relenting in their indiscriminate killing of innocent citizens in north-eastern Nigeria.

Despite all this human and economic disaster Nigeria has witnessed a tremendous transformation in terms of corruption, as corruption is now referred to as a thing of the past. The heavily dented image of the country is gradually wearing a better look.
Today its no longer business as usual for corrupt politician and executives who are only after the looting the country and depriving citizen of their rights. Today both the United Kingdom and the United States of America have returned and are still returning huge amount of money stashed by corrupt politicians in their countries.
With the introduction of the Treasury Single Account, the Federal Government has reportedly saved over #45billion naira.
Just recently two of the abducted Chibok girls were rescued as the Boko Haram militants are constantly under severe fire by the Nigerian armed forces, as is evident in Operation Crackdown, a component of Operation Zaman Lafiya Dole, the Nigeria armed forces seems to have gained the upper hand in the counter insurgency operations now, carrying out daily clearance operations. Furthermore territories previously under the control of the insurgents have been liberated by the armed forces. Many victims mostly women and children held captive by the group have been rescued.
