The Headies 2015 has officially
launched 2016 as the year of Hardcore Beefs in the entertainment industry.
Remember 2015 ended with Freeze vs Basketmouth, Davido vs Sophie & Dele
Momodu. Now 2016 has started with the biggest of all – Olamide Vs Don Jazzy
which is YBNL Vs Mavins (the two heavyweight music empires)
The music award show started
slowly with empy seats, bad sound and lack of coordination but ended abruptly
on fire as Olamide led a walk-out of his YBNL crew from the
venue after a
showdown with Don Jazzy and his Mavin Crew.
It all started when Reekado Banks
won the Next Rated Award category ahead of Lil Kesh. The award comes with a car prize.
Many people thought Lil kesh was robbed and were already expecting a kanye
stunt from the YBNL people like Davido had tweeted back in 2015 when the nominations came out that if Lil Kesh doesn't win, he should pull a "Kanye stunt."
Olamide didn’t disappoint when
they came on stage to receive Adekunle Gold’s award for the best alternative
category. In his speech, Olamide said “Lil Kesh is our next rated artiste. Fuck
anybody. Iyalaya won”, then he dropped the mic and his red cup in anger as he
walked off the stage.

We thought that would be all
until Don Jazzy came on stage to receive his Lifetime recognition award and in
his speech he said “Egbon Olamide, If you want the car you can come and collect
it”.
This made the YBNL boss very angry as he led a walk-out of the YBNL crew
out of the event venue. He did not even wait to collect his Artiste of the Year award. Infact, at this point, the whole event scattered even though all the award categories had not been presented.

This action scattered the whole
show and there were reports of fighting outside the venue.

fight has started on social media….
